Wow it is Day 21- of what was originally,  a 8 day fast. Having had a fair bit of expierence fasting, after 8 days, I just did not feel like I had accomplished what I had intended, with the first 8 days? So after the 8 days, I continued to monitor how my body was feeling, this is paramount to understanding and monitoring your fast. YOU MUST STAY ATTUNED AND  LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!

I carried on with the same regimen mentioned earlier,  during this whole period, including all the daily supplementation,  colon cleansing and salt water oral enema’s. You can view the videos on youtube search for 44thrash.

As of this writing,  it has been exactly 21 days since my last food on June 7th, after three weeks my stomach has just begun to growl a little bit,  and I am actually starting to think of food again. During this period,  the hardest part was when my daughter would visit me on weekends,  and I had to make meals for her,  while not eating myself.  She of course at 12 years old thinks her Dad is a little bit crazy ;-) and she actually started to get worried for my health, it was difficult for her to understand,  that this is one of the best things that one can do for their health. That is,  give the body a rest from daily digestion of food,  and allow the body’s Vital Force the time and energy to look after some other internal problems of clearing away old accumulated toxins, that have built up over time. Once this has been accomplished, the body is capable of taking care of ALL other functions to operate at optimum health.

It is recommended that a person fast one day a week, and quarterly fasts of 7-10 days, to allow the body the necessary time to detoxify,  from all the pollutants,  that we are subjected to daily.

After experimenting with fasting most of my adult life, and would have to say, that it is highly recommended before any other diagnosis, so that the body is functioning properly,  in order to be evaluated properly.

One should think of this as being on Mother Natures Operating Table, and it is best kept private and confidential, and done while also incorporating lots of quiet time, meditation, exercise including cardiovascular, stretching and weight resistance.  I found I was able to maintain all of this during my 21 day fast with lots of energy to spare.

So do yourself a favor and begin to incorporate fasting into your health maintenance program. It has unbelievably beneficial effects on all body systems.

In closing I would like to add, that in my own case of using fasting to remove mercury from my body,  from old amalgam dental fillings, I feel, that during the 21 days,  I made tremendous strides in facilitating the removal, as in,  at least 75% of my symptoms have disappeared from 21 days ago. After 21 days you are very fine tuned to listening to what your body is trying to tell you?  So as much as I was hoping for a 100 % feeling after this amount of time, I presently feel that more time is needed,  and will try to plan my next major fast for the fall of this year. It is stated, that it can take anywhere from between 6 month’s to 2 year’s to remove heavy metals like mercury from your body.

Feel free to post your comments/I highly recommend that you incorporate fasting into YOUR HEALTH REGIMEN.……………you can email me at jeffthrasher@rogers.com if you have any questions/thethrash
